Less than four percent of all Scouts ever reach the rank of Eagle, however, the University of Nebraska at Omaha Marching Mavericks has a tradition of going beyond expectations in every aspect. Their group of Eagle Scouts is no exception. The 2008 Marching Mavericks have nine of our members as Eagle Scouts. These band members are pursuing varying degrees ranging from General Studies to Architectural Engineering. They come from eight different troops, each one as unique as its Eagle. Each Eagle Scout contributes something different to the band's success. |
