Pahuk Pride is nationally recognized as the premier youth leadership-training course developed by the Boy Scouts of America. The training consists of a seven-day, outdoor, youth leadership development adventure. A staff of volunteer Scouts and Scouters selected for their knowledge and dedication conducts Pahuk Pride. Scouts graduate from Pahuk Pride with confidence in their abilities and leadership skills to make ethical choices in their position of responsibility in the troop, and their lives. Pahuk Pride 2008 had 93 campers and 25 staff members participating in the training from Iowa, South Dakota and Nebraska.
