The Little Sioux Scout Ranch is approximately one hour north of Omaha, Nebraska in Iowa's Loess Hills. The 1,800 acre ranch is approximately 15 minutes east of Interstate 29 off the Little Sioux exit (#95). Six hiking trails through narrow valleys and over steep hills offer a myriad of views of this pristine, heavily timbered ranch.
On June 11, 2008, a devastating tornado blew through the camp during the Mid-America Council's annual weeklong Pahuk Pride Youth Leadership Training. Tragically, four Scouts lost their lives and 48 other Scouts were injured while trying to take shelter.
