Scouter Needs Our Help
Jim Jourdan is a long time Scouter, he is presently serving as the Goldenrod Order of the Arrow Adviser and on the Troop 1103 unit committee and he is the Network Administrator for the Mid-America Council. His wife Sherry has trigeminal neuralgia, a nerve disorder of the trigeminal nerve in the jaw. (Trigeminal neuralgia causes stabbing, mind numbing, electric shock-like pain from just a light touch of the cheek. This disorder can be corrected by surgery.) As a full time employee Jim does have medical insurance. Unfortunately, Sherry's condition is pre-existing and Jim's insurance will not cover any expenses.

We're asking you to “Do a Good Turn” for one of our own. We have established a fund for Sherry here at the Mid-America Council. If you wish to help please send your gift to:
Mid-America Council
12401 West Maple Road
Omaha, NE 68164
ATTN: Mark Custer
Make your check payable to the Mid-America Council and note the Sherry Jourdan Fund in the memo section at the bottom of your check. If you prefer you can use your credit card; contact Scouter Services at 402-431-9272. Please provide the name on the card, the amount of the gift, your address, card number and expiration date.

Please “Do Your Best” to help Sherry and Jim, thank you. For more information, contact Mark Custer, 402-431-9272, mcuster@mac-bsa.org.

At the base of the statue, there are bronze plaques affixed which honor individuals who are participants in the Mid-America Council Boy Scout Heritage Program. These leaders have given their support with a minimum donation of $100,000 through: outright gifts, bequests, gifts of insurance policies, trusts or annuities.
