Spring Camporee hosted by Petah La Shauro

WHEN: April 26-28, 2013;Friday after 5pm, checkout Sunday am
WHERE: Private Property (South of Hwy 30)
1449 Road D, Schuyler, NE 68601
WHO: All Boy Scouts, Venturers, leaders and parents
COST: $10 Youth, $2 Adult; includes Patch, Saturday evening meal, Program materials; deadline for a patch is 4/15/2013
Units are to provide their own drinking water, fishing gear, camping equipment, canoes and PFDs, and all food except Saturday supper.
Spring Camporee: Take a Platte River Canoe Trip or stay at the campsite and complete some of your Tenderfoot requirements. Bring your Troop flag. All boaters must have and wear a personal flotation device. Must be a Blue Swimmer to canoe the river.
Various Round-Robin activities Saturday morning.
Afternoon activities include your choice: 3 hour Platte River Canoe Trip OR Tenderfoot Requirement Instruction
Other activities Include: Fishing Derby, Latrine Design Contest, 5 mile Hike to identify plants, animals and signs, Tenderfoot and 2nd Class Hike, Scout Spirit (by Patrol)
Evening Activities: Non-Denominational Church Service (Directions to a nearby Catholic Mass will be provided); Evening Meal Provided; Dutch Oven Dessert Contest; Campfire and Awards; OA Call-out (Those wishing to conduct their OA Call-out, please contact Dale Bonge at 402-395-6730 to make arrangements prior to the Camporee)
