A totem pole with a single eagle feather carved into it has been placed at the NBZ Memorial Site at Camp Cedars. The purpose of the pole is for placing a wooden memorial feather on it. The feather is 6 inches long and is painted white with a black tip. The deceased member's tribal name and their given name will be painted on this wooden feather.
We offer the option of a feather for those who do not wish to carve or decorate a totem pole. Contact us when you are at summer camp if you are interested in this option. The cost is only $5.00 for the memorial feather.
