 Scuba provides the relaxing nature of life under the sea, the beauty of the coral and sea life, the openness, the unexpected.
Payment is required to reserve your spot. Scouts may sign up individually or with their troop, but space is limited. Prior to class scouts must purchase their own Scuba Diving Merit Badge book from the Gottschalk Scout Office and collect their Open Water Diver course materials at DiVentures. A completed medical questionnaire and liability waiver is required for this class and should be faxed, scanned or dropped off at DiVentures 48 hours before class begins. Home study is a big portion of the scouts' scuba certification training. Scouts should read and complete all portions of their Scuba Diving Merit Badge book and their Open Water Diver book, and watch the Open Water Diver DVD before class. Please note that to take scuba certification class, DiVentures requires students to purchase their own mask, fins, boots and snorkel. DiVentures offer a variety of styles and price ranges for this personal diving equipment. |
